Great communication with all of the technicians, and office staff. Project was completed quicker than expected without any unexpected issues. Very satisfied! Great dealing with a local knowledgeable company.

I have been trying to install a solar panel + battery system for several years now with a few frustrating issues preventing progress. Then I talked to Got Watts and the project was finished with professionalism and expertise and no drama! Samantha helped me scope out the system and finalize my plans, then Danny and Mark did the electrical work to get everything installed and operating. Quality work, on time, on budget with a friendly crew. What more is there to say?
Received a bid from Got Watts, one of six. I decided to hire them for my panel and battery job for several reasons. They are a local business. Their bid included highly rated equipment. They were extremely easy to work with in refining my wattage needs. Their price competitive, and they worked with me closely to calibrate system needs to my usage. The installation was quick, and the crews cleaned up thoroughly after they were done.
I highly recommend Gott Watts. The team is very responsive and professional. The installation of our Tesla Charger was very uncomplicated and fast. It is a great local company who truly cares about their customers and employees.
We’re not sure. The assessment was quick and within the time which we needed for it to occur. The assessment is identified that we may not be in compliance with PG&E standards. We are now requesting an estimate for the cost of bringing us into compliance.
I chose “Got Watts” to install my solar system which had been recommended by my friends. From the beginning to the end I have experienced the best service I could imagine. Sam, who arrived first and was a solar specialist, explained patiently what we would need and how long the entire process with take in several different stages. She was knowledgeable, professional, without being pushy to purchase the system. Next employee of “GW” who was responsible for the design of the system was Chris who with the help of drone assessed position of panels, location of a Powerwall and Gateway. He sat down with us and with an excellent knowledge explained everything to us. Two months later, the electric and roof crews arrived and within 2and1/2 days installed panels, battery and controlling system. The electrical crew ( Brian, Wayne and Brandon (?)) and roof crew ( led by Justine) were working efficiently, clean and finished their work in timely manner. At the end, the company electrical inspector, Mark, finalized all electrical connections, introduced us to the Tesla application and was waiting for the city inspector to finalized the operation of the solar system. It was was a such pleasant experience to observe his excellent electrical and computer skills. I need to mention all people from the office who communicated with us during the whole work. Lindsay, Mallory, Jenn and Dan, who provided all documents, invoices and scheduling were above and beyond. At the last, Jeremy, the owner, met us and thanked for choosing his company. We assured him that selecting his team was the best decision we could make and we’ll definitely recommend his company to whoever wants to install the solar power system
We did the full boat of solar and HVAC with Got Watts Electric. As with any retrofit project there were challenges but Got Watts stuck with it and resolved the issues. The system works perfectly and in the end what more could you ask for?

I had a great experience adding backup batteries to my existing home solar system with Got Watts. Very clear communication from the office and on-site staff. All interactions were professional and courteous. The system itself looks great and appears to be a very clean install. Shoutout to Sam at the office for handling most of the communication, Chris for the initial site inspection, Brian and Wayne for the install, Eldridge for facilitating the inspection, and Marc for commissioning the system and dealing with Enphase. All staff were great to work with. My only complaint is that the electricians left a ton of small debris after the install like bits of wire, metal parts, and drywall dust. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume this was an oversight, but I wish I didn't have to clean up after them.
I am highly satisfied by the professionalism and dedication from the front desk staff to the field staff. They provided me with very honest recommendations for my project and the expected outcome. I truly recommend them.!!!
Got Watts helped us navigate getting solar at our house. Very open about options and reality. The office kept us updated with our status and once the installers showed up they were great and performed quality work. Couldn’t be happier with the system.
Well run company and very professional
Got Watts installed solar panels on my roof in 2022 and I decided to add batteries in 2024. I called Sam Moore and she informed me that Got Watts was now certified to install Tesla batteries and that is what she recommended. Based on my electric usage, she recommended two Tesla batteries. A month later, Danny and Brian did a great job installing the new batteries and showing me how to use the Tesla app for the new batteries. Then Marc reviewed the install and coordinated the inspection with the city of Oakland. Marc also reviewed the Tesla app and made some changes to some of the default setting, which enhanced my understanding of the Tesla app. Everyone I interacted with was professional and knowledgeable. The work is first class. I highly recommend Got Watts.
Two technicians Brian, Brooke did a wonderful job to install the Tesla Walk connector. They worked efficiently while keeping me informed with progress. Cleaned worked area nicely after installation. Job completed professionally. Will recommend them for sure.
Outstanding customer service and focus. Got Watts is the only company that I’ve worked with in the Bay Area that I implicitly trust. They installed solar panels, a water heater, heat pump, and electrical upgrades at our house. We had a massive malfunction with out HVAC, and they were out to our house within hours to remediate the problem. I’m so happy with them, you will be too.

Got Watts installed our HVAC system 4 years ago and the experience has been exceptional end to end, but I want to specially highlight the incredible customer service of their HVAC project manager, Eric Schaefer. He is a total gem of a human. I don’t think I’ve ever before encountered someone who brings such deep dedication, expertise and integrity to their profession. Despite having completed the install nearly 4 years ago, he still comes in person regularly to help do repairs, upgrade systems, and spends countless hours with us in the sweltering heat fixing random things like WiFi connectivity issues. Beyond that, he is always available by phone and text to help me troubleshoot various issues we’ve encountered due to being a house in the hills which gets drastic temperature changes, loss of power, and various other issues that negatively impact our HVAC system. He has come to our rescue with a generator when we were without power for days, and he’s always there to help us when we need them. If you’re looking to engage with an incredible small business where you’ll be fully taken care of by smart, honest and committed people, I couldn’t recommend Eric or Got Watts more highly.

Great experience! I researched several solar companies and got multiple bids for my project. Gott Watts was consistently the most responsive and detailed as well as being well priced. Sales, PM and installation crew were all great. Highly recommend!
Got Watts went above and beyond throughout the quoting, planning and installation phases of our solar project. After the initial quote, they gave me multiple options, and responded to my questions promptly with additions & changes. Even after I signed the proposal, when a new component became available, they offered to adjust the quote to get me a cheaper, more efficient system. We're now fully operational and I could't be happier.
The team did an amazing job installing our solar system. The sales associate was very thorough and knowledgeable. The electricians did very neat job. All conduit and wiring was neat and tidy. The panel installers were quick and looked like they were having a good time and had good vides. Best of overall, when there we issues, we were able to discuss them and find a solution. Their team works with great humility and just wants to do the right thing.

I have a solar problem…not working! Got Watts was not the contractor who put it in but I called them and they sent a very competent electrician out, JJ, to tackle the issue. Problem was solved.
